New Building!
This has been an exciting year for the Thompson Ice House, as along with continued maintenance of the old buildings and equipment, a new building has appeared on site! After careful research and consultation, the building was constructed and completed just in time for the annual ice harvest. The new building will house exhibits, including old tools and items for sale, as well as a video presentation about ice harvesting.

Ice Cream Social!
Annual Ice Cream Social Sunday, July 2, 2023 (12-3pm or until the ice cream is gone!)  The Thompson Ice House Preservation Corp. invites the community and visitors to the Annual Ice Cream Social. Participants can hand crank ice cream using ice from the ice house to make their ice cream, while others simply enjoy eating ice cream and socializing with friends and neighbors.

These events are fundraisers which go to the preservation/operation of the Thompson Ice House.

The Ice House only accepts cash/checks, no credit cards/debit cards.

Summer Museum Hours:
July 1 – August 28:  Fridays and Saturdays: 1:00 – 4:00pm
