Ice Harvest 2024

This year’s harvest hosted over 700 people on a beautiful winter day. Cars were lined up on Route 129 for miles. We were excited about all the publicity… Lincoln County News, The Weather Channel, Channel 6 and Dave Dostie Photography were in attendance… interviewing, photographing and filming. Our gas powered saw quit mid way through, but it gave us the opportunity to use hand saws and get more folks involved! We harvested 500 blocks of ice!

We host three fundraisers a year, with all proceeds going to the preservation of the Thompson Ice House…this event was a wonderful success!
